Cat Updates
Snicker is slowly improving. The infection on his neck still looks icky and has not improved as much as I would like but it is getting better slowly. He had chest x-rays done here and sent to Raleigh. His Raleigh vet was happy with the progress. He stays on antibiotics until he goes to Raleigh on 7/24
Casey had chest X-rays done here and sent to Raleigh. The vet here gasped when she looked at them (so did I) the spot in her lungs is very large. It was the first time I had seen it. Her vet in Raleigh and I talked and she is not happy with the x-rays. We are adding a different antibiotic to her since it was a bacteria when they tapped it (that did not grow) It could be an abscess or tumor. She is going back to Raleigh on 7/24 ... If it has not made major improvement we can count on surgery to remove it. The vet said we were looking at 4-5K. Her last time at the start of all of this was 4500. Casey is eating, holding her weight and does not appear to be in any discomfort. We did blood work 2 weeks ago and it was completely normal. So long as she is not suffering we will continue with treating her.
Autumn is hanging in there. eating, etc
Sasha went in because she was losing weight. Blood work and x-rays gave us serious concerns. We knew we were dealing with something ugly. The ultra sound confirmed our suspicions. It appears to be a very aggressive cancer and has infiltrated most of her organs. She is eating and still moving around but her time is coming to a close with us. I will be with her at the end when it is time to say goodbye. She will tell us when she is ready.
